What keeps us going in this very challenging work is the knowledge that we are all engaged in something exceptional which not only changes lives but sometimes, literally, saves them.
Our committed staff work hard in all of our homes which include small group settings and intensive one to one placements. Our therapeutic methods demand the highest level of energy and professionalism from our staff. In our long term placements, our unbroken non-exclusion guarantee marks us out as different from every other children’s home in the country. We can make no greater contribution to the children that we work with than to make them the promise that we will not give up on them….no matter how hard they test our promise.
At the core of our work is the understanding that children who have experienced extreme disruption in their lives require the opportunity to settle down and make healthy attachments. We make this possible by providing them with love and care in abundance and structure to their lives, supported by the expertise of our therapists.
